Sirwah
Sirwah is an archaeological site in the Marib governorate of Yemen, west of Marib, that was a major religious and political centre of the ancient kingdom of Saba. Its temple of the god Almaqah held the great inscription of the Sabaean ruler Karib'il Watar, recording his 7th-century BCE campaigns, including the destruction of Awsan. German excavations since 2001 have studied the temple and town.
