Almaqah
Almaqah was the chief god of the ancient South Arabian kingdom of Saba, worshipped as the national deity of the Sabaeans. His main sanctuary was the Awwam Temple near Marib, and his cult also spread to Dʿmt in the Ethiopian highlands, where the Great Temple of Yeha honoured him. Dedications to him ceased after the Himyarite kings adopted monotheism around 380 CE.
