Wadi Dhana
Wadi Dhana (Adhanah) is a seasonal river valley in Yemen that carries floods from the western highlands down to the desert edge at Marib. The Sabaeans diverted its floods into channels that watered two great oases, works enlarged over many centuries into the Marib Dam. The final breach of the dam in the sixth century CE ended this irrigation system.
