Skorta
Skorta was the medieval name of the mountainous district of western Arcadia in the Peloponnese, around Karytaina and the upper Alpheios valley. Its Greek population was hard to control, and the Franks of the Principality of Achaea held it through the barony of Karytaina. Byzantine forces recovered much of it in 1320.
