Soria
Soria is a city in Castile and León, north-central Spain, capital of the province of the same name on the upper Douro. The province covers the heartland of the ancient Arevaci, including the ruins of Numantia just north of the city. In the Middle Ages Soria was a Castilian frontier town and a centre of the wool trade, and the poet Antonio Machado lived and taught there.
