Tlalmanalco
Tlalmanalco is a town in the State of Mexico, south-east of Mexico City near the foot of Iztaccíhuatl. It was one of the principal altepetl of the Chalca confederation and its leading political centre after the Aztec conquest. Its 16th-century Franciscan convent, with an elaborately carved open chapel, is one of the finest early colonial buildings in Mexico.
