Tlaloc
Tlaloc was the Aztec god of rain, storms and agricultural fertility, recognisable by his goggle eyes and fangs. A storm god with similar features was already worshipped at Teotihuacan in the first centuries CE, and at Tenochtitlan Tlaloc shared the Templo Mayor with the war god Huitzilopochtli. Offerings, including child sacrifices, were made to him on mountains and at springs to secure rain.
