Tollensians

Also known as Tollenser

The Tollensians (Tollenser) were a West Slavic tribe of the Lutician federation, named after the Tollense river and lake in modern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Together with the Redarii they formed the core of the federation, and in 1057 they fought the Circipanians and Kessinians in a civil war that weakened it. Their lands later passed to Pomerania and Mecklenburg.
