Treaty of Vordingborg
The Treaty of Vordingborg of 1435 ended the war between Eric of Pomerania, king of the Kalmar Union, and the Wendish towns of the Hanseatic League that had begun in 1426. The towns kept their trading privileges in Denmark and their exemption from the Sound Dues, and the costly war weakened Eric, who was deposed a few years later.
