Tremp

Tremp is a town in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, capital of the Pallars Jussà district on the Noguera Pallaresa. In the Middle Ages it lay at the heart of the county of Pallars Jussà, in a basin of farmland ringed by castles. Today it is a market town known for the nearby reservoirs and the dinosaur fossil sites of the Tremp basin.
