Vahka
Vahka, near modern Feke in Adana province of southern Turkey, is a castle in the Taurus mountains north of the Cilician plain. It was an early stronghold of the Rubenid Armenian lords of Cilicia in the late 11th and 12th centuries, guarding routes between the uplands and the plain. The Byzantines took it in 1137, but the Armenians later recovered it.
