Vakil Mosque

The Vakil Mosque is a mosque in Shiraz, Iran, built under Karim Khan during the Zand period, next to the Vakil Bazaar. It is noted for its prayer hall of carved stone columns and its tile decoration. Accounts of the Zand Empire list it among the finest examples of eighteenth-century Persian architecture in the Zand capital.
