Wilhelm Karl, Duke of Urach
Wilhelm Karl, Duke of Urach, was a German prince and general of a Catholic branch of the royal house of Württemberg. On 11 July 1918 the Council of Lithuania elected him king of Lithuania as Mindaugas II, hoping a monarchy would loosen German control. He never went to Lithuania, and the council revoked the election in November 1918 as Germany collapsed.
