Wupper
The Wupper is a river in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, a right tributary of the Rhine about 115 kilometres long. Its valley in the Bergisches Land was one of the earliest industrial regions of Germany, with textile bleaching, dyeing and metalworking. The city of Wuppertal, named after it, is known for its suspended monorail running above the river.
