Yaxuun B'ahlam IV
Yaxuun B'ahlam IV, known as Bird Jaguar IV, was king of the Maya city of Yaxchilan from 752 to about 768 and a son of Itzamnaaj B'ahlam III. He came to the throne ten years after his father's death and used many carved monuments to assert his right to rule. His building programme, including Structure 33, made him, with his father, the city's greatest patron.
