Aberdyfi

Also known as Aberdovey

Aberdyfi is a village at the mouth of the Dyfi on Cardigan Bay in Gwynedd, Wales. In 1216 Llywelyn the Great held an assembly there at which he divided the lands of Deheubarth among its princes and the other Welsh rulers acknowledged his supremacy, a high point of the native principality.
