Amadeus Aba was a Hungarian baron of the Aba kindred and one of the great oligarchs who ruled provinces almost independently around 1300. From the 1290s he controlled much of north-eastern Hungary, including the area around Kassa (Košice), and served several times as palatine. He was killed in Kassa in 1311, and King Charles I defeated his sons at the Battle of Rozgony in 1312.
