Arlanzón

Also known as Arlanzón River

The Arlanzón is a river of northern Spain in the province of Burgos. It rises in the Sierra de la Demanda and flows west through the city of Burgos before joining the Arlanza, which in turn flows into the Pisuerga, a tributary of the Duero. In antiquity its upper valley lay in the lands of the Turmodigi, and the medieval city of Burgos grew up on its banks.
