Battle of Rawdat Muhanna
The Battle of Rawdat Muhanna was fought in April 1906 in the Qassim region of central Arabia between Abd al-Aziz ibn Saud and Abd al-Aziz ibn Mutib, emir of Jabal Shammar. The Rashidi emir was killed, and the Ottoman troops who had supported him soon withdrew from Qassim. The battle secured Ibn Saud's hold on southern and central Najd.
