Berbera

Berbera is a port city on the Gulf of Aden in Somaliland. A trading port since antiquity, it was long famous for an annual fair, held in the cool season, where caravans from the interior met merchants from Arabia and India. It was the capital of British Somaliland until 1941, and its deep-water port remains Somaliland's main gateway.
