Bremen-Verden
Bremen-Verden was the territory formed from the secularised prince-archbishopric of Bremen and prince-bishopric of Verden, granted to Sweden by the Peace of Westphalia in 1648. Sweden claimed the city of Bremen as part of it and attacked it in 1654 and 1666. Occupied by Denmark during the Great Northern War, it passed to Hanover in 1715–1719.
