Canche

The Canche is a river of northern France, about 90 kilometres long, flowing west through the Pas-de-Calais department to the English Channel at Étaples. In the Middle Ages its valley marked the southern limit of the County of Flanders, and the early medieval trading port of Quentovic lay near its mouth.
