Cius
Cius (Kios) was an ancient Greek city on the Gulf of Cius in the Sea of Marmara, at the site of modern Gemlik in Turkey. In the fourth century BCE it was ruled by a family of Persian origin, ancestors of the kings of Pontus. Philip V of Macedon destroyed it in 202 BCE, and it was refounded by Prusias I of Bithynia as Prusias-on-Sea.
