County Wicklow
County Wicklow is a county on the east coast of Ireland, south of Dublin, known for the Wicklow Mountains and the early monastic site of Glendalough. Its mountains long sheltered Gaelic clans such as the O'Byrnes and O'Tooles, who resisted English rule from Dublin. It was the last Irish county to be formed, in 1606.
