County Wexford
County Wexford is a county in the province of Leinster in south-eastern Ireland, named after its county town, Wexford, and bordered by the Irish Sea and St George's Channel. Its coast was among the first parts of Ireland taken by the Anglo-Normans from 1169. In 1798 it was the main centre of the United Irishmen's rebellion, with battles at New Ross and Vinegar Hill.
