Dimasa Kingdom
The Dimasa Kingdom, often called the Kachari kingdom, was a state of the Dimasa people in present-day Assam and Nagaland, India. Its capital was at Dimapur until the Ahom king Suhungmung sacked the city in 1536, after which the court moved to Maibong and later to Khaspur in the Barak valley. The kingdom was a long-standing rival of the Ahoms and was annexed by the British in 1832.
