Dione
Dione was a Greek goddess worshipped with Zeus at the oracle of Dodona in Epirus, where she was his consort. In Homer she is the mother of Aphrodite. Her name is a feminine form linked to that of Zeus, and she appears with him on coins of the Epirote League, reflecting the importance of Dodona as the religious centre of Epirus.
