Enkomi
Enkomi is an archaeological site near Famagusta on the east coast of Cyprus, one of the chief towns of the island in the Late Bronze Age. It had a harbour, copper workshops and ashlar buildings, and its finds include the bronze statue known as the Horned God and Cypro-Minoan tablets. It was abandoned in the 11th century BCE as its people moved to nearby Salamis.
