Gulen
Gulen is a municipality in Vestland county in western Norway, at the mouth of the Sognefjord. It gave its name to the Gulating, the law assembly of western Norway, which met there from the Viking Age and whose law, the Gulating law, is among the oldest written laws of Scandinavia. The assembly later moved to Bergen, around 1300.
