Jayakeshi I
Jayakeshi I was a king of the Kadamba dynasty of Goa in the 11th century, ruling as a feudatory of the Western Chalukya Empire. He moved the Kadamba capital from Chandrapura to the port of Gopakapattana on the Zuari river, which grew into a busy harbour trading with Arabia, East Africa and Gujarat.
