Mahi Kantha Agency

Also known as British Mahi Kantha Agency

The Mahi Kantha Agency was a British political agency in northern Gujarat that supervised the many small Rajput and Koli chiefships of the Mahi Kantha, the country around the Mahi and Sabarmati rivers. Most of its states paid tribute to the Gaekwads of Baroda. After independence they were merged into Bombay State and are now in Gujarat.
