Markgräflerland
The Markgräflerland is a region in the far south-west of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, between Freiburg and Basel and the Rhine and the Black Forest. Its name, 'margraves' land', recalls the lordships held there by the margraves of Hachberg-Sausenberg and Baden. It is known for vineyards producing Gutedel (Chasselas) wine.
