Merymose was viceroy of Kush, the 'King's Son of Kush', under Amenhotep III in the early 14th century BCE. He governed Egyptian Nubia and led the army against the rebellious land of Ibhet in the king's fifth regnal year, as recorded in inscriptions. Fragments of his granite sarcophagi, from his tomb at Thebes, survive in museums.
