Mokvi Cathedral is a medieval church in the Ochamchire district of Abkhazia, built in the 950s or 960s by Leon III, king of the Abkhazians, as the seat of a bishopric. A large cross-domed building, it was also a centre of learning, where the illuminated manuscript known as the Mokvi Gospels was copied in 1300.
