Naneghat
Naneghat is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, India, between the Konkan coast and the Deccan town of Junnar. It was a major trade route in the Satavahana period, and a cave at the top bears the inscription of Queen Naganika, which records the Vedic sacrifices of her husband Satakarni I and is one of the earliest Satavahana records. It includes some of the earliest known Brahmi numerals.
