Oslofjord
The Oslofjord is an inlet of the Skagerrak in south-eastern Norway, stretching about 100 kilometres north to Oslo. Its western shore held the Viking Age centres of Vestfold, with the ship burials of Oseberg and Gokstad, and its eastern side the district of Vingulmark. At its narrows by Drøbak, Norwegian guns sank the German cruiser Blücher in April 1940.
