Pays de Caux
The Pays de Caux is a chalk plateau region of Normandy, France, north of the Seine estuary between Le Havre and Dieppe, ending at the sea in white cliffs such as those of Étretat. It takes its name from the Caleti, the Gallic people who lived there before the Roman conquest. It is a fertile area of grain and flax farming.
