Phoenice
Phoenice was an ancient Greek city in Chaonia, in north-western Epirus, near modern Finiq in southern Albania. It was the chief town of the Chaonians and a frequent meeting place of the Epirote League. Illyrian raiders sent by Queen Teuta sacked it in 230 BCE, and in 205 BCE it gave its name to the peace that ended the First Macedonian War.
