Also known as Bahrain Fort

Qal'at al-Bahrain is an archaeological site on the north coast of Bahrain, occupied from about 2300 BCE to the 18th century. It was a walled town and probably the capital of Dilmun, and later the site of a fort rebuilt by the Portuguese in the 16th century. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
