River Deveron
The River Deveron is a river in north-east Scotland, flowing about 100 kilometres from the hills of Aberdeenshire past Huntly and Turriff to the North Sea at Banff and Macduff. Its valley formed part of the fertile lowland of the Taexali in the Roman period. It is known today for its salmon and sea trout fishing.
