River Tees
The River Tees is a river in northern England, flowing about 137 kilometres east from Cross Fell in the Pennines to the North Sea at Teesside. For much of its length it formed the historic boundary between County Durham and Yorkshire. In the early Middle Ages it marked the frontier between Bernicia and Deira, and later the southern limit of the bishops' palatinate of Durham.
