Sino-Burmese War (1765–1769)
The Sino-Burmese War was fought from 1765 to 1769 between Qing China and the Konbaung dynasty of Burma. The Qianlong Emperor sent four invasions into Burma, all of which were repulsed, the last ending with the Treaty of Kaungton (1769); Burma kept its independence, but the war diverted it from its campaigns against Siam.
