Sool
Sool is an administrative region in northern Somalia, with its capital at Las Anod. Lying within the borders of former British Somaliland, it is claimed by Somaliland and Puntland, and much of its Dhulbahante population rejects Somaliland's rule. Somaliland lost control of much of the region after the fighting around Las Anod in 2023.
