Sultanate of Rum
The Sultanate of Rum was a Seljuk state in Anatolia from the late eleventh century to the early fourteenth century, with its capital at Konya. It emerged as a branch of the Seljuk dynasty. Accounts of the Seljuk Empire treat it as one of the states that emerged from the fragmentation of the Great Seljuk Empire.
