Tarfaya
Tarfaya is a small town on the Atlantic coast of southern Morocco, beside Cape Juby. Under the name Villa Bens it was the centre of the southern zone of the Spanish protectorate, the Tarfaya Strip between the Draa River and the 27th parallel. Spain transferred the strip to Morocco by the Agreement of Angra de Cintra in April 1958, two years after the northern zone had joined independent Morocco.
