Tréguier
Tréguier is a small town in the Côtes-d'Armor department of northern Brittany, where the Jaudy and Guindy rivers meet. It was a bishop's seat from the early Middle Ages until 1790, and its Gothic cathedral holds the tomb of Saint Yves, who was born nearby. The first Breton dictionary, the Catholicon, was printed there in 1499, and it is the birthplace of the writer Ernest Renan.
