Uronarti
Uronarti was a Middle Kingdom Egyptian fortress on an island in the Nile near Semna, in Lower Nubia, built under Senusret III. Triangular in plan to fit the island, it was part of the chain of forts guarding Egypt's southern frontier. First excavated by George Reisner's expedition in the 1920s, it is one of the best-documented of these forts.
