Wadjet
Wadjet was an ancient Egyptian cobra goddess, the protector of Lower Egypt, worshipped above all at Buto in the Nile Delta. Shown as a rearing cobra or as a woman wearing the red crown, she was paired with the vulture goddess Nekhbet of Upper Egypt in the king's 'Two Ladies' title. The uraeus cobra on royal headdresses represented her.
