Walram II, Count of Nassau
Walram II (c. 1220–1276) was Count of Nassau, ruling jointly with his brother Otto I until they divided the family lands along the Lahn in 1255. Walram took the southern part, with Wiesbaden, Idstein and Weilburg, founding the Walramian line, which gave Germany King Adolf of Nassau and later the grand dukes of Luxembourg. Otto's northern share founded the Ottonian line, ancestors of Orange-Nassau.
