Wazir
Wazir is a variant spelling of vizier, the title of a chief minister. In the Sikh Empire it was the title of the prime minister at the Lahore Darbar, the imperial court. Accounts of the Sikh Empire list the wazir, alongside the diwan or finance minister, among the senior officials who formed the administrative nucleus of Ranjit Singh's state.
